Carol is the Dental Coordinator and has been with the dental practice for 10 years. Carol was born and raised in Lake County and resides in Umatilla with her husband of 24 years, David. They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren with a new addition coming soon. She says it is very rewarding to help the patients with their insurance coverage and to see their smile after having their dental work completed. Her outside interests include spending time with her family and friends and lots of outdoor activities including going to the beach and boating.
Mary Lou is a Certified Dental Assistant and has been with the practice for 15 years which she says have been priceless. She received her degree from Aiken Technical College. She has a dental diploma which is recognized by The Dental Assisting National Board as a Certified Dental Assistant since 1997. The best part about her job is watching someone walk into the office scared and leave smiling and laughing. She loves being a part of making someone smile. She is married to her husband Steve and they have lived in Mt. Dora for 17 years and enjoy its small town charm. On her weekend outings, be it power-walking or dining out, she is thrilled to spot the smiles we have made possible with our great team. She says thanks to all our patients that make us smile.
Jordan is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been with the practice for 12 years. She obtained her AS degree in dental hygiene from Tallahassee Community College. Jordan was born and raised in Lake County and resides in Mt. Dora. She enjoys the family like feeling our office presents. She enjoys getting to know her patients and teaching them good oral hygiene habits. She is married to husband Price, for 13 years and they have two sons, Cohen and Hayes. Her outside interest are spending time with her family and volunteering at her childrenâ€™s school.
Sharon has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 26 years and has worked at our practice for 6 years. She received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Tallahassee Community College. She thinks of the staff as family and says "Everyone here is so professional and cares about the patients." She believes dental health is important. She has discovered oral cancer in 2 patients over the last 26 years and thinks making a difference in the lives of her patients makes her appreciate her job. Sharon was raised in Tavares FL and she has been married to Dale Wallace for 26 years. Dale owns and manages The Melting Pot restaurant in Longwood FL. They have a daughter named Chelsea and a son Kyle who both graduated from Mount Dora High School. Chelsea is now a graduate from UCF and is a Registered Nurse. Kyle will graduate from UCF with a Business Finance degree in December 2013. Sharon enjoys fishing, hiking and spending time with her family.
